Terms of sale
These terms summarize the confirmed commercial rules for Plancher d’ici products and services.
Prices and measurements
Flooring is sold by the square foot. Measurements supplied by the customer remain their responsibility. If they are inaccurate, an additional charge may apply on site.
Delivery and carry-in
Delivery and carry-in are included in the flooring price within the service area. Carry-in includes moving the goods inside. Delivery is unavailable outside the service area, even for an additional fee.
Installation
Installation and removal are separate services. A measurement visit is always scheduled when installation is selected; it requires a deposit of 15% of the project total, fully credited on the invoice when you buy the flooring. Installation is covered for one year. Not included in installation or removal: baseboards, quarter rounds and transition mouldings; stairs and stair nosings, which Plancher d’ici neither sells nor installs; levelling, patching and underlayment; moving furniture, appliances and toilets; trimming doors.
Returns and problems
Only unopened boxes are taken back: vinyl and laminate, and tile by the full box only. Hardwood, engineered flooring and discounted products are not taken back. Cancelling after the measurement visit carries a $200 fee. No refund is available after the flooring has been installed. A broken box reported on delivery, or an order error, is replaced. Damage found after delivery is not covered unless caused by a manufacturing defect.
Legal warranties
These terms do not limit legal warranties or other rights granted by the laws applicable in Quebec.
